Gave 21 dollars to a bum tonight. The look of total gratitude and hope on her face was worth it especially when she said she was going to pay for food and laundry, not that it was my place to tell her what to do w the money. Life can be rough. I feel close to That space myself sometimes , life being so expensive in the city... and am so grateful for so many things. My teacher Shandor used to give 20 to 100 dollars to people who asked and he told me to just give sometimes and never question their motives. It was not for us to judge. I miss him a bit tonight. A big thank you to him wherever he is. love to all everywhere...
