Gave my dog Harley a good Bubble Babez Bath Company Oatmeal Soap Bath!! Im soooo not a dog person but Harley gets special treatment :) Oatmeal, with its many lipids, proteins and protective chemical compounds known as saponins, has long been used as a soothing treatment for numerous itchy skin conditions ranging from dry skin and bug bites to eczema and psoriasis. Though humans are the ones we normally think of as taking oatmeal baths, dogs can also benefit from the positive effects of oatmeal. Homemade oatmeal soap can be used as an alternative to often harsh commercial pet shampoos, or to help alleviate symptoms of allergies, flea and tick bites or other itchy skin conditions.
