Gavin is home from the hospital and I am so grateful. Diabetes took an awful hit but I wont let it win. I dont think there is a worse feeling then seeing your child like this. Gavin is my hero! This boy doesnt even know the strength he has inside and most of the time as you all see him he still has his smile! Some things may be harder for him and he doesnt even realize how special his accomplishments are because to him its just being a kid! Hes humble and kind. The 2 year old little girl next to us in the hospital who was crying in pain from surgery prompted Gavin to give her his Mikey stuffed animal to bring her comfort as it has brought him! Garrett couldnt wait to get to the hospital to hug his brother! I love those boys and I am reminded even more how through times like these the gifts they are from God. I cant thank my friends near and far, God, and family members who keep us going! Your words and prayers mean so much! My son has amazing things to do in his life and he cant wait to be back into sports when hes well, with Rocky Sanchez
