Gaza Struggles to Rebuild as Blockade Remains Hamas is initially at fault for the missiles that started flying out of Gaza. Use their money to rebuild, certainly not ours. Israel looks like they are also slightly responsible for overkill. Let them help but not us. And let Hamas sit at the peace table. It is possible, look at the West Bank. It didnt suffer what Gaza did. Hamas is a real detriment to the Palestinian people. Hamas needs to make 180 degree turn, sit down at the peace table, negotiate first a meaningful peace then a rebuilding of their infrastructure and economy. Israel on the other hand has to sacrifice the settlements for peace and allow a truly independent Palestinian state at peace with Israel. And dont tell me that Israel cant sacrifice their settlements. Sharon did it in Gaza. It can happen in the West Bank.
