General Weather Situation: Moist unstable air mass across The Bahamas associated with a broad upper level trough over the area and westward moving upper level low and broad surface trough across Florida is influencing the weather over the islands. Wednesday 17th - Scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly over the Northwest & Central islands; Cloudy with showers and isolated thunderstorms for the remainder of the islands. Daytime high temperature 84ºF and overnight low 72ºF. Winds East to SE 10-15 knots. Seas running 2-4 feet over the ocean. Thursday 18th - No significant change except for gradual improvement in weather conditions during the late afternoon for most of the islands. Friday 19th - Scattered Showers and thunderstorms mainly in the area of the extreme northern islands; elsewhere, partly sunny with fewer showers and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms. Daytime high temperature 85ºF and overnight low 73ºF. Winds SE-S 10-15 knots. Seas running 2-4 feet over the ocean. Saturday 20th - Weather conditions will remain relatively unchanged. Sunday 21st - For all areas, mostly sunny, warm and humid with a chance of Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms during the afternoon. Daytime high temperature 85ºF and overnight low 74ºF. Winds SE - S 10-15 knots. Seas running 2-4 feet over the ocean. Monday 22nd - No significant change expected. Tuesday 23rd - The weather conditions will remain relatively unchanged except for the winds in the Southeast Bahamas which will become E to SE at 15 knots.
