Generally I draw lot of inspiration from mahatma.. Very naturally godse was a villain for me from childhood. Mahatma still remains a hero for me but godse no more villain. Nor he appears to be in emotional outburst or anger for mere past events. Mahatma might not be reason for nation split which was on account of Nehru Jinnah cunning shameless thirst for power. But perhaps they couldnt hv succeeded but for fearful mahatma. It disturbs too much when I hear the pak which was partitioned didnt house much of Indian Muslims who selected generous bharat; but it sheltered more of baluchistani crowd! Mahatma perhaps yielded to desire of fame as a peaceful leader.. No doubt we should maintain the virtue of peace- till stake is me; till it is no first attack. But how can it be when stake is our sisters, cultural& knowledge heritage? How can defense be a wrong approach! Perhaps Nehru would hv misused mahatma further for his desire to be honored as international leader. Perhaps it was essential that he lose mahatmas guise so that India did not grow further weak.. I can never be comfortable with such a sad demise of mahatma whose numerous thoughts form inspiration; nevertheless godse is a martyr for me now who sacrificed everything for love of his nation- he never tried to escape; never mind a permanent defame... For breaking Nehrus cunning weapon..
