Based on the idea that our world view is shaped by our – often abstract – emotions, rather than by our rational thoughts, it is our mission to add an extra dimension to spoken and printed news media through creative and artistic cinematic solutions. During a period in the spring of 2014, The Current will publish nine short films by nine different directors. Each film will explore a current theme in the news using cinematic tools and methods in different ways.
