Genesis 12 Breakdown The call of Abraham and When He calls me, I will Answer and I will be somewhere working for my Lord. Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee: God is calling you to Leave your Worldly Pleasures and you Believe, Receive, Accept and Follow Him. Because even Abram had wealth but He was not blessed. He was not fearing God. Psalms 128:1, Revelation 3:20.. And after He called Him, Abraham raised his faith as in Romans 10:17. His Faith was Established after He was called in Jesus Name. And in Hebrews 11:6. He pleased God and God changed him from there and then in Jesus Name. 2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: When you accept Him, All His promises will be fulfilled unto you as in 2 Corinthians 1:20. When God sees you, He says you as a great Nation in Jesus Name. Because you did not choose Him but He chose you in Jesus Name. There in 1 Peter 2:9. God does not call you a failure but a Winner….. 3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Know that those you bless you are many because your God is in fullness in Jesus Name. (John 10:10). And those Curse you are just few in Jesus Name. 4So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. Obedience is better than Sacrifice in Jesus. Even in Isaiah 1:19”…….”. Deuteronomy 28:1-2, Hebrews 11:6. Be diligent to listen to His Voice (John 10:27), You are His Sheep and His Sheep hears His Voice in Jesus Name. 5And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. Abraham Shifted from His Home Land to the Promised Land. Of course He had to go with His Wife, Lot His Brother’s son and all their substance because He had to go with His fellow Ministers because Even Jesus Appointed His Disciples to work with Him in Ministry. Meaning that Abraham was prepared for Ministry that God wanted Him to Do in Jesus Name. 6And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. He creates the Way, where seems no way in Jesus Name. (Isaiah 43:19), Joshua 1:9, Philippians 1:6, Isaiah 43:1-2... 7And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. Obey Him and He will appear to you in Jesus Name. He will reward you in Jesus Name. Abraham Had Faith in the Lord in Jesus Name. (Romans 4:17). 8And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. After God has appeared to you, He will tell you what to do in Jesus Name. Abraham had a revelation to build a place of Worship in Jesus Name. From there and then you will become the altar of God in Jesus Name. (Leviticus 6:12-13) 9And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. 10And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. Of course situations come in But you remain a winner in Jesus Name. Challenges will come your way but God will see you as a winner in Jesus Name. (Romans 8:37), Isaiah 43:1-2 11And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: 12Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. 13Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. Though Abraham deceived because the Situation, He was in but continued to see him as a Great Nation in Jesus Name. Though He became unfaithful about that, God remained faithful to him in Jesus Name. 2 Timothy 2:13 “13If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” 14And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. 15The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house. 16And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. 17And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram’s wife. Never joke with the Anointed Man or Woman of God. Because God’s Hand is upon them in Jesus Name. 18And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? 19Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. 20And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.
