Geneva Gernold asked We adopted an intact, 4 year old Dane. He was given up by his former owner because he was playing with the live stock. He has an appt to be neutered on the 29th. We are finding that this sweet boy - previously an outside dog - has trouble relating to other rumbustious, playful dogs who come up wanting to play complete with play bow and wagging tail. He will growl and fight with them rather than play. He also has a high prey drive. I am hoping that the neuter will help with these things. Any tips on training or ?? to help socialize him?
