George Tapley - getting ready to leave for a century I decided to swap out pedals, the non drive side has been noisy. I found the insert in the FSA SLK carbon crank really loose. Im thinking of backing it with a 14mm flat washer between the pedal and the crank. When I tighten the pedal the mating surface of the pedal will push against the washer and carbon and stabilize it. Ill need to replace the whole crankset, but you think this will work for now? The pedal tightens fully, it just the threaded insert is wobbly in the carbon.
