George went over to his fiancees house and sadly told his girlfriend the wedding was off. He was going to marry another woman. His girlfriend was distraught. Because of her this behavior everyone started staying away from her and this lasted for more than 5 years which made her a grumpy person. Once we started talking and discussing what bad happened to her, she realized that these types of things happen. She thought everyone else is self obsessed but she has been self obsessed. Even if someone said something small, she made a big issue out of that. When something normal was said, she felt that her parents were partial towards her brothers and later on she felt that her husband was not fair to her. However, in reality it was she who was separating herself from everyone. She never gave that space even to her husband in her life where he could come in her closed proximity. After this realization, which was a shocker to her, she started working on what can she give in the relationship, what can she give to herself. Whatever she was expecting from others, actually she had to give to herself first. She started looking inside more and found her true peace. She started liking herself and this let her stop expecting from others. Earlier she was detesting herself so felt everyone else was detesting her. As she felt she was a bad person. But when she started accepting herself, happy with herself and at peace, every drama stopped in her life.
