Germany election: Merkel and Steinbruck reach out to undecided voters With less than two days left before Germany’s general election, Chancellor Angela Merkel called on voters to support her. In televised comments, Merkel said: “The stronger the mandate for me, the better I can create policies for Germany and represent our interests in Europe and also the world.
