He prides himself on his tackles and interceptions. 9) Glen Johnson - 7.14 rating The Englishman provides the side with constant energy up the right flank. His defensive pay has improved with age, but he still enjoys getting in the final third and linking up with Liverpools attackers. 8) Jon Flanagan - 7.14 rating One of the real success stories of Liverpools season, Flanagan has excelled on the left of Liverpools back four, despite being totally out of favour at the start of the campaign, and naturally a right-back anyway. 7) Jordan Henderson - 7.2 rating Henderson provides the side with constant energy and dynamism in midfield. This term, hes notched nine in the top flight, and registered four assists too. 5) Coutinho - 7.48 rating The Brazilian playmaker has brilliant vision, and although he occasionally tries to play an ambitious through-ball too often, his talent is undeniable. Against Arsenal earlier in the season during Liverpools 5-1 romp of the Gunners, Coutinho totally outclassed £42m playmaker Mesut Ozil. 4) Daniel Sturridge - 7.48 rating The English forward has formed a formidable partnership up top with Luis Suarez, notching 20 goals himself, more than any player in the top flight except his Uruguayan teammate. 3) Martin Skrtel - 7.51 rating Skrtel has scored more goals than any defender in European football with seven, and been the stalwart of Liverpools defence.
