Gertie is a neighborhood dog that was likely either dumped at the levee or abandoned by her owner. She has a lot of great qualities and Used Dogs will use all of our resources to support a foster home and get her adopted. We JUST need a FOSTER. What about some people interested in co-fostering? I will give you all the advice and support I can about how to manage her with your other pets or whatever other questions you may have. She has a spay appointment for tomorrow. Used Dogs will pay for 1/2 or all of training classes. She is a very sweet dog. A little emotionally beat up. Looking for security. She bonds very well with people. So often the only difference between a forever home and euthanasia for a dog is just a place to be for a while. She is a little emotionally beaten up, so I dont think she will do great at a big shelter. We are BEYOND FULL here. She did REALLY well at the vet. She is gentle and affectionate. WHO is up for helping Gertie????
