Get ready for our first taste of Fall weather this weekend ! The new data coming in this Friday evening points to wet weather this weekend in the Big Country and temperatures much cooler than weve seen in a while. A cold front will enter the northern Big Country early Saturday morning and work its way south through the day, ending up south of a Brownwood to Ballinger line late in the day. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to be widespread around the KRBC viewing area, moving north to south, as the front moves through. Storms will tend to move slowly, so it is possible that locally heavy amounts of rain will be measured. Localized flooding is even possible. Im forecasting a high temperature of 80 on Saturday as well as Sunday with lows in the middle 60s Saturday night and Sunday night. Enjoy a cooler weekend !!
