Get the tissues ready, after 3 unsuccessful attempts we finally caught Sherry home tonight at 7:15, our last mission of our Turkey Drop 2014, & maybe the most powerful. Sherrys husband Dave was just a few years older than me a member of the East Norriton firehouse with Craig Schwartz years ago. In April Dave got stung by bees which he was highly allergic, he stabbed himself with the epi-pen twice & went into cardiac arrest. Dave was in a coma until this past Monday two days ago when he past. The brokenness & devastation on the faces of his wife & son was so heavy, that I just knew we were called to help her & her 4 children. So please A-Team as we sit down at our tables tomorrow night lets bow our heads & give thanks to all who we hold dear cause we never know how long they or we are going to be here. God Bless Sherry & her family through this difficult time, his funeral is on Saturday, what a horrible way to spend your holiday. God Bless Everyone on this Team, that continue to serve & DREAM. Happy Thanksgiving Angels, Chins Up & Chests out, things could be so much worse without a doubt!
