Getcha Mind Right ...Youth Workshop being presented in 2 weeks at the 9th Annual Youth Summit Kisha L. Kelsey Bey, Timothy B. Kelsey Bey, Kaon-Jabbar East El – Youth Our workshop is about “Choices, Decisions, Consequences.” It focuses on teaching youth to exercise their Five Senses to become guiders of the Nation, as well as, learn those things necessary to become better Citizens. Participants will learn how mainstream Schooling is failing them, why they need to begin to see their Schooling as a means to independently “create their own” career; instead of preparing to dependently “work for someone else.” They will learn how just being politically “aware” is not good enough, wherein, one must become politically “active” to effectively make change.
