Getting a nice face picture of a cow is much harder than you would think. This is our dairy cow (heifer, whatever),Nutmeg. She is due to have her first calf in February or March. The black steer is NOT for dairy ;) It has actually been a tough year with the cattle. I cant seem to get weight on or keep it on them. Last year our beef cows were fat and happy on pasture and occasions bales of coastal. This year, due to the weight loss, I have added grains and they are still very thin!?!? The vet has been out twice. Ugh!
