Getting ckd out. Feeling thankful, lucky & aggravated! Last night @ 10:30pm I was hit by a speeding truck on Fairmont Pkwy by a mental patient (no joke!). He was upset from having a fight with his girlfriend. He smashed into me going about 65 mph. My vehicle spun around at least once, facing me back towards oncoming traffic. Scared the life out of me! So many people stopped to help (& follow the guy, who was trying to flee). An off-duty Pasadena police officer was close & helped me immediately. Truly impressed by PPD! Walking away, I realized just how Very Lucky I was! Life is fragile!
