I had a strong support system, including a husband and family, who tried to help me kick my opiate addiction. But it wasnt enough. My heart broke when I saw my infant daughter go through withdrawal. DCF got involved - I was scared, angry and in denial. But DCF helped me go through treatment and now I am so thankful every day. Im back with my daughter, have a job and wonderful family and friends.
