Getting ready for the next two days on set of RESURRECTION I happened to catch LIVE with KELLY AND MICHAEL and saw the interview with David Oyelowo who brilliantly brings Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to life in the film, SELMA. David spoke about his faith in God, what brought him to this point as an actor and a Christian, and how God worked out all things for him to play this role and also do what he loves. What an inspiration!! This film is a landmark film that is designed to teach, preach, and heal. Then it hit me like a freight train: This film is nominated for 4 Golden Globes: 1. Best Motion Picture. 2. Best Director (Ava DuVernay) 3. Best Actor (David Oyelowo) 4. Best Song. And while I and many of my actor friends are simply background actors in this film, to think that we are part of something so epic and brilliantly done is so overwhelming! Thank you GOD for moving me to Atlanta and for orchestrating the last year as you have. I am simply speechless!!!!! I cannot even fathom what 2015 will look like. SELMA OPENS NATIONWIDE JANUARY 9th, 2015. PLEASE BE SURE TO GO SEE IT!!! #MarchOn
