Getting ready to work on a message based on the first session of our Bible study, based on the book Not a Fan. Jesus said it like this, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Self denial! Sacrificing my desires, my agenda, my need for venting, and instead submitting my every action and word to Jesus teachings. Thats a huge part of discipleship! I hope we can all learn to practice this, and become more than just a fan, of Jesus. I invite anyone close to FBC to attend our studies beginning next Wednesday evening: meal at 6:00 p.m. and study at 7:00. Be there!
