Getting to Palau Solitude Ones scheduled itinerary accommodates - TopicsExpress

Getting to Palau Solitude Ones scheduled itinerary accommodates the common after midnight & before sunrise flight arrivals/departures (specifically, United Airlines from/to Manila). Which is one reason liveaboard diving in Palau is the popular choice for many as you are not inconvenienced to book after midnight transfers and pay for additional night(s) unnecessary - unless you decide to do so to extend your stay in Palau of course! You will be received at the airport on arrival on the day (early morning) of embarkation (or after 7pm the day before) Palau can be accessed directly from the following airports: Manila, Philippines – Taipei, Taiwan – Seoul, South Korea, Guam – USA and Tokyo, Japan. However, only United Airlines (used to be Continental Micronesia) provides regular scheduled flights from Manila, Philippines and Guam, USA (via Honolulu, Hawaii – USA). As of 2013, other airlines serving Koror are Japan Airlines from Tokyo, China Airlines from Taipei and Aseana Airlines from Korea, however these flights may not be available all year around. Latest flight schedules to and from Koror, please visit the respective Airlines web site for their latest schedule. The schedule listed below is correct as of 01 April 2014 United Airlines - Manila/Palau UA192 ETD MNL 2215Hrs ETA ROR 0205Hrs UA193 ETD ROR 2115Hrs ETA MNL 2310Hrs For Korean Air - Incheon (Seoul)/Palau KE677 THURSDAY,SUNDAY ICN-ROR 2055-0155+1 KE678 FRIDAY,MONDAY ROR-ICN 0255-0805 For Asiana Airlines - Incheong (Seoul)/Palau OZ609 THURSDAY,SUNDAY ICNROR 2310-0400 (next day) OZ610 FRIDAY,MONDAY RORICN 0500-1010 For China Airlines - Taipei/Palau CI028 TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY TPEROR 13:35-18:35 CI027 TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY RORTPE 19:05-21:45 Immigration, Customs and Health Requirements All visitors must have a valid passport not less than 6 months from date of expiration and proof of return arrangements. Flying from Singapore to Manila/Palau Day before Embarkation Fly to Manila and arrive at Terminal 1 (NAIA) no later than 6.30pm. Check In for UA flight to Palau opens 1915Hrs. If you arrive in other terminals other than terminal 1, you must make your way to Terminal 1 as the check-in and departure for United Airlines is in Terminal 1. There are shuttle buses but we would advise you to take a taxi. Whichever, your greatest wildcard is the Traffic when you want to consider the connection time allowance you have when booking your flight to Manila. It can be as long as 45mins for a 15mins drive from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1. Once you connect with UA192 ETD MNL 2215Hrs ETA ROR 0205Hrs (Next Day from the day you depart Manila). You will be picked up and transferred to the vessel. Day of Disembarkation UA193 ETD ROR 2115Hrs ETA MNL 2310Hrs (You leave the boat at 4pm and stop by the local shopping mall (only one in Koror) for some souvenir shopping. and arrive at airport by 6.30pm for your check-in. The flight arriving in Manila will be too late to catch even the last flight from Manila to Singapore and the earliest possible flight back to Singapore from Terminal 1 is about 5am (TigerAirways, but may not be a daily schedule). So you can either stay at the airport and wait (not advisable) or book a nearby hotel with free airport transfer. Another suggestion would be to consider going to Anilao for some (more) diving since are already in Manila with all your equipment and it is only 90min drive away from Manila.
