#GettingPastMe Day 40 - Philippians 3:10 - MSG [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly. I am beyond grateful for all of the shaping, molding, and sculpting God has done on my character and my spiritual house, over these past 40 days. I feel so much stronger and healthier (spiritually & physically), and I now look with excitement and anticipation on the results that will happen in this next stage. Its now time to go forward with my focus on My DETERMINED PURPOSE. As we continue to actively pursue a deeper relationship with the Lord, the time comes when OUR determined purpose finally lines up with HIS determined purpose. A recurring message in our services this week has brought out how, as we go through our circumstances, we often focus TOO MUCH on the PROMISES God has made, and NOT ENOUGH on HIS PURPOSE behind the circumstances we face. Its important for us to look Behind the Scenes of the situations we face, and see what God is working on IN us; what characteristics of Christ that He is developing in us; what areas of weakness we possess that He is helping us turn into strengths; and what He is causing us to get past so that He can bring us into.... God, first of all, thank You for Your love. Thank You for the purposes You have for us as the Body of Christ, and the purposes You have for us individually. Thank You for the perfect way in which You train, develop, and Father us. We will be sure to do You proud!
