Ghost confession...#230 .. Place: kerala.. Hi frnds, The famous place in kerala, chotanikara Devi temple well known for driving away spirits. I was there a few days ago for a visit n it was a nice plce. We prayed god n came out to see a large open area. People stood gathered at one side as if they were spectators for some show. I went into the crowd to see a lady made to sit in the premises of the temple facing the shrine of durga and I had no idea what was about to take place. It was shocking to see her parents holding her tight n a priest walked in n started reciting prayers on her. She got restless n began to scream and the priest started beating her down with that long rope made of jute ad he also had a huge stick with which he bet. Her parents couldnt control n they stood aside n a group of four priests were beating her showing no mercy n she was running only around that plce . She could have run away but she was just running inside a particular area. It was scary to watch but a small feeling about how human are treated . I did not stand there any more because she was already bleeding n crying. They call it ghost. Maybe yes. But aint there some other way to drive ghost without a physical torture to the possessed? No human can bear the beatings like tht.
