Coastal Angler Magazine Orlando and our event sponsors proudly present the 6th Annual Central Florida Shad and Crappie Derby to be held From November 1, 2014 to February 28, 2015 in the Greater Orlando area. Over $5,000 in Prizes will be awarded! Awards: 2 Grand Prize winners and 10 division winners, Monthly Prizes, plus the new Crappie 15 Incher Club. This four month long catch photo and release (CPR) derby is FREE to all anglers who register at any of our derby sponsor sign-up locations (Gibson is a sign up location). Anglers are permitted to fish anywhere they choose in Florida, and as much as they want during the derby timeframe. All participants must log into and upload their photos to cfshadderby. All photos must be taken using the official derby measuring device and include the official derby photo token which you can get them here at Gibson. December 6, 2014 – Crappie Rally – fishing, seminars, FREE lunch ---> on-the-water fun! January 17, 2015 – Derby Fishing Seminar, held on-site at sponsor location February 7, 2015 – Shad Rally – fishing, seminars, FREE lunch ---> on-the-water fun!
