Gideons CoreMen, Article #5: 5] When accused about my former failures I will agree with my adversary quickly. However, I will not allow former failures to give me permission for future failure nor prevent me from future service. I am a Man of God, I have been washed in the blood of YahShua, and forgiven. So help me God. Matt 5:25 “Reach a settlement quickly with your adversary while youre on the way with him, or your adversary will hand you over to the judge, the judge to the officer, and you will be thrown into prison.” Heb 8:11 “And each person will not teach his fellow citizen, and each his brother, saying, Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them.” Heb 10:17 “I will never again remember their sins and their lawless acts.” • Do you find it difficult to admit when you have made a mistake? • Why is saying “I was wrong” so hard for some to say? • Scripture refers to Satan as the “accuser of the brothers.” Why do you think it is important to not deny our mistakes? • How can admitting past mistakes actually enhance future ministry?
