Gifts are opened and silence is hanging in the air. Kids are in their rooms playing with their loot and Im sitting here with a big smile on my face. This year has certainly been a challenging one, to say the least. I was faced with life changing situations, difficult decisions, and unexpected changes. That being said, I look around me at the mess created by my children and all I can think is how blessed I am. I have 3 wonderful healthy thoughtful and beautiful children. I have the best brother i could ever ask for, a great dad, caring and loving nieces and nephew, extended family that would do anything for me, and the ABSOLUTE best friends in the world. I have met some really wonderful people this year that Im so thankful to now call my friends. Ive also had to let go of some great people too. Unfortunately that is part of life. As I look forward to the new year its with a sense of excitement for i have no idea what God has in store for me. But I know with my family and friends by my side, I will face it with a smile on my face and love in my heart. I wish nothing but health and happiness for each of you this new year! Life may knock us for a loop, but it is our choice how we respond!! Be happy, be thankful and live each day to the fullest!! MERRY CHRISTMAS! !!
