We need a graduate as President!Soon, the former soldier complied and selected a graduate as President. Overlooking the qualification of that desired President, they said,Yaradua is an ajebota. Hes from the ruling class, a Hausa-Fulani aristocrat. How can a man whos never seen poverty understand our plight? Na only dem dey dis kontri? God, being the Teacher of teachers, allowed these sentiments to offer us what we really wanted: a graduate who WAS also a thoroughbred ajepako, one who had no shoes growing up. And, yes, hes also from the minority! Under the Ajepako Graduate, awaiting the promised Transformation Agenda, we all graduated into worse level of predicaments in which weve realised, the hard way, that hes no doubt a certified scholar of cluelessness, one fit to serve, even in his area of expertise, as a zoo keeper. Sure, Im a witness to his failing. When individual merits are played down by sentimental voters, prepare for such depressing realities. But the sad thing is, our political education is so poor that GEJ is only seen as a variable offederal characterby the sentimental bunch, not as the testifiably failed leader he is! So, as 2015 approaches, the question still remains: what do Nigerians want? A Muslim, Christian, Hausa, Igbo, Nupe or a politically sound Nigerian? Whoever aspires to change this country has to be really courageous, and let him come prepared that he may not be re-elected, for this country doesntdeservegood men.
