Gio was such a trooper yesterday. I picked him up around 10:30AM in Macomb, IL. On our way home we passed Farm King & my dad asked me to turn around so he could buy candy for my nephews to hand out in the parade. As I was turning around my dad got a call saying they were losing his little brother. So we headed straight to the hospital in Galesburg. Less than half way there we got a call he was gone. The family was at the hospital in Galesnburg, so we took my dad there to be with family. I waited outside with Gio and family. He gave out kisses. Met new people. Then we went to my grandmas where he met Jordan, Brandon & Logan my nephews. He was so good with them. I was super excited when he showed me he knew I was his go-to person. He got on the couch & laid his head in my lap :) My grandmas husband Bill loved him & said he can come back anytime to visit. When he finally made it home he attacked James with kisses. But he still kept clinging to me. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! Such a bittersweet day. Gain one family member & lose another.
