Girlfriend gets some weird text from somebody she doesnt know last night. They were apparently trying to text their son, apologizing for being a deadbeat dad, and saying he has nothing to live for. He said he was alone in a park in Utah and was going to commit suicide. I called him, he said sorry wrong number. I tried asking if he was OK, but he hung up. I called the Utah Highway Patrol and gave them the number. I really hope they were able to get ahold of him and help. I dont know his story. I cant imagine how much pain and loneliness it takes to think that it the only escape or answer. Kind of a helpless feeling knowing he is considering that and not being able to help.
