Githu Muigai made history on Thursday as the first attorney general of an ICC member state to address a trial chamber. The Kenyan lawyer was in The Hague to represent his government at the status conference for the #Uhuru Kenyatta case. His point? To demonstrate that Kenya has not been uncooperative with the ICC. Of the over 40 requests the Office of the Prosecutor sent the government, there was compliance on 36, if not more, said Muigai in one of the submissions.
