Give God you attention Prov 4:20 “attend to my words, incline thy ear to my sayin. Let them not depart from thy heart.…” God need you attention. You must create time to listen to God. You must create time for God to speak to you. He loves to talk to His children. He always spoke to abraham, he spoke to moses, josua, jeremial, ezekiel, isaiah, Jesus, Paul, Peter, etc. he also wants to speak to you in volumes. Give Him attention!!! this is very important. Some people may say but I tried to listen to God or I created time for Him but I didn’t hear anything. It’s because you are just trying to create the relationship and you are still a child in it. i.e you are still growing to understand His presence. Continue in it and sooner than you expect he will begin to talk to you. Why you are waiting to hear Him talk to you. Makesure you talk to Him. CONITNUE TO TALK WHETHER YOU HEAR Him or not. Speak and express yourself to Him. He is hearing you. Is just that you haven’t stared hearing Him clearly yet. You wil soon start if you stay and don’t rush out or get tired. In this communication session and lifestyle of your. You must see Him as; a. You father b. Your friend c. Your boss d. Your love. In giving Him attention. The first thing is that we must first learn to listen. That means we need to separate ourself from crowd and be withh the Lord. If there isnt any means to go out from the crowd. Then be with them bodily but be with the Lord in your mind and Spirit. It is very important you note this. He loves to be alone with you. Just like you love to be with the one you love alone so he love to be with you alone Secondly, in listening to Him you must learn to understand how he talks. He talks like his word. You must need to be conversant with His word to be able to understand how he talks. He will not tell you to do anything against his word. There must be a confirmation form his word. thirdly, you will need to allow Him comprehend you. That means don’t always generalise leanr to be specific. Talk to Him in clear terms. Not because he doesn’t know all but just to cause a proper fellowship and also when he does the things you know exactly that he did it. Fourthly, consentrate in your prayer. Put your mind off wondering and distraction. Sometime off you phone, put off the tv, may be kneel down and close your eyes. Don’t be too much in an hurry. Psalm90:20 “…teach us to number our days” its so important you know how to arrange you time with God having a quality time in it Allow a communication flow
