Give Life: Give Blood at Ascension on Tuesday, May 13th from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Donating blood usually takes less than one hour. Let’s make it another successful blood drive for the Michigan Community Blood Centers. Some requirements for blood donation: · 17 years or older · Minimum weight of 110 pounds · May give blood only every 56 days (8 weeks) · If you have been deferred in the past, try again. Changes in donor criteria, including some medicines, may make you eligible now · Bring photo identification The Michigan Community Blood Center often calls, asking you to donate.
