Give and be generous to those less fortunate because they are usually the ones looking after others in similar plight. Just look at the ostracised population of homeless living just minutes away from the Silicon Valley, most with only tarps to live under and no access to clean water but these communities of less fortunate are at most times infinitely more caring towards one another than we who live in homes. How many of you will take the time to talk to your neighbours, make conversation, exchange dishes? I remember when I was in high school we had a father who would come to visit every morning play the kazoo and sit down have coffee with the teachers at school, hes son used to sleep at the bus stop without blanket everyday sun, rain or hail. I always felt uncomfortable about walking by and not even saying a word to him not acknowledging his existence. Even as young teenagers we were so cruel, a friend of mine would pick on this elderly gentlemen prone to the bottle. I was digusted as they urinated into the bottle (wrapped by brown paper bag) and gave it to him. I have never felt so much disgust and contempt for another person needless to say I havent spoken to him in over 16 years now. In my experience those with less most often give more. Those with more give nothing.
