“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed - TopicsExpress

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” Luke 6:38. The bible says men shall give into your bosom and not necessarily God. The issue is that if you give you have borrowed God; in turn he will use people to give you. Just like the law of gravity, this law works. If your hand is short and your fingers are closed, no one will give anything to you. “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again” Prov 19:17. This is a key to the poor and those who would like to increase what they have. Identify poor people and show mercy. Do not give because you expect publicity or something in return. Just do it for the sake of good. Some are allowed to show it on TV because they have a ministry to the whole world. Stick to your call and just do it. Learn from the poor widow whom Prophet Elisha answered - 2 Kings 4:2 “What can I do to help you?" Elisha asked. "Tell me, what do you have in the house?" She replied "Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,". You see God will always ask this question, “What do you have”. As long as you are still immature and not able to answer back and produce what you have, even what you have will be taken away. The bible concludes by saying “For I (Jesus) say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him” Luke 19:26. This is very simple, open your eyes well-well, and see that you have something. Please share with someone and you will get even more
