My brother was steering the sled and I laid on top of him. We thought we were being applauded instead kids were yelling, “turn your sled into a snow bank”. My sister tried to jump in front of the sled but it only picked up speed as it rode over her back. We were too close to the intersection, the car and us two met. My brother was closest as the car ran over our bodies and my heal. I really learned at an early age to rely on Christ. At the time they performed brain surgery, they told my parents I would die or be a vegetable. But with the grace of God, I learned to walk, talk, see and hear and not take life for granted. Thank God there is a God!
