Giving thanks...My Story and how God Healed Me! I pray what I went through touches you in some way ! Miracles can happen! Please Share ... In 2006 I had a baby girl and through my pregnancy it was rough in many different ways. We did invitro with Mya so I went thru lots of procedure and pain of different kinds . Now dont get me wrong being pregnant alone is hard enough but the pain I was experiencing was very stressful and physically draining . I did the best to do my best to keep striving on then at 34 weeks that day Sept 30 2006 was a big day in our town. As the day went on it became unbearable but not sure why . Then at 820 I decided to go to the hospital and long story short Mya was born at 10:22 she was perfect 5lb 5oz ! The c -section was a crazy experience and after that they did surgery for my endometriosis which I had battle for years and had multiple surgeries for. All was well with Mya and me at that time and we were 2 hours short of sharing same Birthday . All of 2006 /2007 I could not quite get on my feet physically. I struggle day in and out with pain in my abdominal area . I didnt know what to do ! I went to all types of doctors and no answers except IBS or you just had a Baby ! I was at a loss and I felt crazy ! I complain some ... I knew people that were close to me didnt know what to do for me cause maybe it was just the same ole thing endo , IBS or you just had a baby . I had test and nothing. I kept asking God to help me and praying the pain was still there . Why..?? Finally I had had enough I went to the ER New Years Eve 2007 I begged for test but they were busy so I got morphine . About 10 min or less a whole new situation occurred I was allergic . I had no idea and I had a near death experience . When they say your life flashes it it true. I seen Mya over and over , my family and a bright light . After that my first panic attack experiences.Not sure what actually happen to me in there but I remember that clearly . About 20 days later the pain had become so unbearable I couldnt take it... 2008 I went to my obgyn and said remove whatever to make this pain go away . He agrees to do surgery because of my history . I went in not knowing what actually was going to happen. Once I was open up the doctor discover more and called my husband told him he wanted to take my appendix because it looked very bad may explode along with so endometriosis . So they all agreed and this wasnt a surgery he typically done but he did remove it . I recovered and returned back to work shortly . Then a week later I got a call that I needed to come back in ASAP that he would stay and I knew something was terribly wrong according to the receptionist voice. So I left work to go by myself as a dear friend called my family to meet me there . When I got there my husband , brother and Mom was there. We waited over a hour .... The things going over in my head was I am going to have to have a hysterectomy ... Maybe that is all I could think of! Then we sit inFront of the Doc and he looks at me and says you have Cancer Melissa ! What ... No ... Are you serious ok ok ok ... What now well it started in your appendix and I am not sure of it spread . We are going to setup a serious of test and send you to a colon specialist you Will have to have Half of your colon out. I honestly couldnt believe all of this I have a almost 2 year old I have to be here Lord help me ! I need help! I prayed and cried while trying to be strong. I leaned on my family ,friends salon and my church family . I had so many people pray for me sometimes just stop in the salon to pray that was so awesome dont give up Melissa ! I went before my church for prayer and family/friends ! It was a truly traumatic experience all the docs , test and blood test I didnt think I had any blood left along with panic attacks .Then after my serious of test to be prepped for my big surgery 12 doctors had a meeting and decided upon all test I would Not have half my colon out. When I received the call it was 2 days prior to my surgery . Praise God I am Cancer free today! I have had test and all have been clear! I hope and pray this touches someone today and that keep your strength up ,keep the faith ,keep moving, and a keep a good positive outlook! Let the people that love you take care of you and pray for you ! I am so thankful for all the people that love me and prayed for me daily! I had a guest bring me a prayer request sheet from her church and under my name was healed ! I am so thankful for each and everyone one that is in my life ! I love you all! I know I am forgetting a lot but Thankyou !
