Glad to have donated and been a part of this with apparently over $40m raised. I was listening to someone on the radio talk about water wastage and that parts of the world suffer from droughts. How would it be possible to empty our reservoirs and move all that water to Africa? The problem with people dying of thirst does not lie with people helping others, raising awareness and donating to a charity like ALS. The issue is we are not efficiently helping other countries build wells and have proper sanitation. A sad and serious issue but a separate one.
