Glamour Shots - March 15 Ruger Super Redhawk For when you absolutely, positively, assuredly need to kill what you are shooting at. The .44 Magnum Super Redhawk is considered by many to be one of the, if the the, strongest revolvers currently in production. Its highly accurate up to 300 meters (especially with a scope), weighted to reduce recoil to very minimal levels (as far as .44 goes), and the ergonomics are designed to make it easy to shoot and manipulate. With the scope, Ive been able to put 6 rounds in the same 3 holes at 25 meters, shooting offhand (meaning no bench or supports). Its heavy, yes, but this mitigates most of the recoil. It feels more like shooting .38 from a pocket revolver than the hand cannon it truly is. -P
