Glen Dimplex Home Appliances Safety Notice - Range Cookers We have found a potential gas combustion fault on some of our gas Range Cookers, if using the grill with the door closed. No issues whatsoever have been reported from our customers or consumers, but we are taking the proactive precaution of carrying out a free, at-home fix on all affected products. There are 28 SKUs involved across Belling and New World range cookers of which the CIH Group sales were 538 pieces over a period of years- the list of products affected and what owners need to do can be found at belling.co.uk/site-informati ... ty-notice/ or newworld.co.uk/site-informat ... ty-notice/ . A spokesperson for GDHA said: As a responsible British manufacturer we continuously conduct on-going quality tests on all of our products. In the course of conducting these tests we found a potential gas combustion fault on some Range Cookers. We have received no feedback from customers nor had any issues reported, but we have nonetheless taken the decision to undertake a comprehensive programme of product fixes across those cookers identified. Current Belling and New World products are fine to continue to selling and the list includes deleted models sold over the past few years, which we need to locate. Those customers already identified have been sent a safety notice and are being contacted to arrange a free, simple, at home fix on their range cookers. *Consumers who believe they have one of the affected products can call freephone 0800 093 9945 or visit newworld.co.uk/site-informat ... ty-notice/ or belling.co.uk/site-informati ... ty-notice/ for further information.
