Seeking the Following Roles: (the year is 1944) Dora – (35-50) Good-natured maid, Ethnic preferred. Mrs. Edith Wilkins – (40-45) Generous, sentimental, lovable, sophisticated, a “true mother” at heart. Miriam Wilkins – (15) Intelligent, adventurous, before-her-time “womans’ libber.” Judge Harry Wilkins – (45-50) Easy-going, municipal judge, good husband/ father, lovable. Ruth Wilkins – (22-25) Charming, intelligent, leading lady. Lt. William Seawright – (24-30) Air Corps lieutenant, lovable, impulsive, romantic. Albert Kummer – (32-36) A “go-getter,” jealous, “not-deserving” fiancé of Ruth. Martha Seawright – (20-22) Pretty, sweet. Sgt. Chuck Vincent – (35-55) Likeable, nice looking. Harold Klobbermeyer – (24-30) Lanky, shy sailor. Casting is open and encouraged to all ethnicities. Good comedic timing essential for all characters.
