Shakiel Humayun @Glenn Borders Exactly what God has always been doing in the time of Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, etc. forgiving those that seek His forgiveness. Edited · Like · 4 · More · Thursday at 3:22pm Glenn Borders @Shakiel Humayun throughout scripture the Lord God threatens and does repay transgression. Even upon those who have repented. eg. The death of King Davids son as an infant by the wife of Uriah. So there is definite punishment for sin despite repentance and forgiveness. So transgression against a perfect, Holy, and eternal God is accumulative and eternal. Yet it is written that He throws the sins of the forgiven, the saved into the sea of forgetfulness. How is this then possible? How is the eternal memory of a sinful act forgotten? It is written; Genesis 9:5And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. 6“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. So then for a sinful act to be forgiven there must be reconciliation. For an unjust weight and balance is an abomination before the Lord our God. You sin but are not punished. What then is done with your sin? It yet still weighs in the balance. Thus the sacrificial system of blood sacrifice. Noah, Abraham sacrificed animals to Allah; Why? Like · More · Yesterday at 6:27am Shakiel Humayun Glenn Borders If forgiveness does not remove sin and punishment then forgiveness has no meaning. Sacrifice of animals were done as a charity by people to receive good deeds, not as a form of ultimate redemption. The sacrifice of animals can not be compared to the christian sacrifice of Jesus because the people, the direct benefactors, are not doing the sacrifice. Is the sacrifice of Jesus retroactive- what happens to all those that lived before Jesus and never believed Jesus died for their sins? All who desire to truly adhere to the Laws of Moses will accept the Christ of Father God as Lord and Savior. So those who did not know Christ but know and follow the laws of God are covered by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. It is written; Luke 20:9And he began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard and let it out to tenants and went into another country for a long while. 10When the time came, he sent a servant to the tenants, so that they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 11And he sent another servant. But they also beat and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed. 12And he sent yet a third. This one also they wounded and cast out. 13Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.’ 14But when the tenants saw him, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir. Let us kill him, so that the inheritance may be ours.’ 15And they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16He will come and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” When they heard this, they said, “Surely not!” 17But he looked directly at them and said, “What then is this that is written: “ ‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’? 18Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.” 19The scribes and the chief priests sought to lay hands on him at that very hour, for they perceived that he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people. Like · More · Yesterday at 8:13am Glenn Borders But as for atonement for sin. Why then did the Lord say, And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. Does not sin beget death? But do animals sin? No only Angels and men can sin. So what and why then is there a required reckoning of the blood of men. Why burnt offerings. You say, Sacrifice of animals were done as a charity by people to receive good deeds, not as a form of ultimate redemption. Why then did the Lord after telling Abraham not to sacrifice Issac, provide for him a ram in his place? Was not the Lord God only testing his faith? The sins of men against God are many no matter if unintentional or unknown. Thus a reckoning is required for life is in the blood. But sin begets death. And why after so many years all of a sudden the sacrifice of Jesus happens out of nowhere? Why cant God just forgive without bloodshed? Why are we limiting God?
