Global Director of Valuation, Ben Elder FRICS, and RICS ASEAN Director, Bill Jones, met with Indonesian Ministry of Finance staff during a meeting last week in Jakarta. Following productive discussions, the pair secured their enthusiastic support in working with the local Valuation Group, MAPPI, to produce common valuation guidance. Ben said: Im very excited about the opportunity of working with MAPPI to produce a document that would in practice be an Indonesian Chapter to the Red Book but critically bring one quality standard in valuation to the Indonesian Market.
