Global Evangelization Bro. Eli Soriano incessantly travels around the globe to fulfill a particular commandment of Christ. Matthew 24:14 says, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Faith brings Bro. Eli to where he is now. From preaching in his native country in the East, he travels to the West to continue his mission by following the biblical direction. As God stated in Isaiah 43:5, “Fear not, for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east and gather thee from the west.” After decades of fervently preaching the Gospel and bravely exposing false religions through radio and television programs, Bro. Eli turned to Internet broadcast to reach billions of people across the globe. Since early 2003, he has been conducting Bible Expositions through video web conferencing for his audience abroad. However, it was only in 2005 when the Church embarked on a global evangelization tour in several Asian countries including Singapore, Hongkong, Macau, and some Mid-Eastern countries. Bro. Eli personally visited these countries to hold Bible Expositions and answer people’s questions about faith, religion, salvation and spirituality. When he announced before the congregation, through online streaming, that he is and will be out of the country for a while to carry on with the global mission, Church members in the Philippines were saddened about his physical absence; however, realizing that the obligation of the Church is not only to Filipinos, Bro. Eli endures missing the brethren to carry out his duty. “Indians were able to listen to me and they said that they have not heard the kind of teachings that I preach. I thought of the one billion Indians; how will I reach out to them? The Chinese are also a billion in population; how will I reach out to them? I realized how many people there are on Earth. Who will care for their souls? Who will bravely teach them the true Gospel?” Bro. Eli tearfully expressed in one of the Thanksgiving services held in the Ang Dating Daan (The Old Path) Convention Center in Pampanga, Philippines. Finding ways to reach out to and enlighten the victims of false religions has been the Church’s constant battle and primary concern. More Bible expositions followed in different continents including North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. This, as well as the 24/7 webcast of The Old Path program and the online streaming of live discussions on Theoldpath.tv, became the tool by which people of different nationalities were able to hear the true Word of God. Through God’s help, MCGI has also pushed through its radio broadcast in some parts of Africa, like Ghana, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone, and also in parts of the USA. The Old Path or Ang Dating Daan, which started in the early 1980s, is the longest running and award-winning religious program in the Philippines. Its radio broadcast is being maintained through DZRH and RMN Manila; Itanong Mo Kay Soriano or Ask Bro. Eli, which features answered queries of faith, airs daily on UNTV 37; weekly Bible expositions in various countries worldwide continue through the aid of the Internet. Through the years, technology has been a very useful channel in spreading the Word of God. Webcast has changed the face of evangelization; however, the Church does not overlook bringing the word of truth through print media. MCGI publishes Believer, The Old Path, The Blog, and Ang Dating Daan magazines. More channels of communication are being set up in the hope of reaching more people to know the truth. To tap more into the growing population of Internet users, Bro. Eli opened an official blog on Wordpress, which draws a number of international readers. This has become another venue by which readers can ask questions regarding faith and spirituality. Bro. Eli’s untiring preaching bore fruits of enlightened souls with the help of God. MCGI now has foreign members from Africa, Papua New Guinea, Portugal, Australia, Nigeria, Mexico, China, Korea and Singapore. Aside from these, there are Filipino brethren who are based in other countries such as Italy, Rome, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, Israel, China, Greece, Qatar, Canada and in different parts of the United States. Coordinating centers of MCGI loom in different continents.
