Global Health is defined as the area of study, research and practice that places a priority on improving health and achieving equity in health for all people worldwide. One of the most exciting workshops in our Pre-Winter Camp is about Global Health. The workshop will aim to understand the current global health situation, analyze our role as medical students and the next generation of global health workers in advocating for and influencing policies geared towards health equity; and learn how to advance health equity as well as encourage medical students to stay engaged in social development.
