Global Hunger Index, either through poor research, incompetence or malice, misrepresented the state of childrens health and nutrition in Timor-Leste. This is not the first time that such organisations show reckless practice of copy pasting and they do such a poor job at it from their comfortable offices far remote from Timor-Leste that they completely distort the facts about the tremendous progress Timor-Leste has made in recent years. I would urge private, institutional and government donors to carefully scrutinise the work of such organisations that through their incompetence, carelessness or prejudices undermine the work and commitment of leaders and workers in countries like mine.
