#GlobalWarming gets nearly twice as much taxpayer money as #BorderSecurity -- While CO2 has indeed increased, weve had 17 years of little to no worldwide temperature increases. Still, the #ObamaAdministration insists on making the fight against Global Warming as a main priority, diverting funds to that effort via as many Executive outlets as possible regardless of Congress or the needs of the American People. Compared to Climate Change, Border Security looks like a mere afterthought: New estimates show the federal government will spend nearly twice as much fighting global warming this year than on U.S. border security. The White House reported to House Republicans that there are 18 federal agencies engaged in global warming activities in 2013, funding a wide range of programs, including scientific research, international climate assistance, incentivizing renewable energy technology and subsidies to renewable energy producers. Global warming spending is estimated to cost $22.2 billion this year, and $21.4 billion next year. At the same time, the federal government will spend nearly $12 billion on customs and border enforcement this year. Its one thing to have a porous border allowing entry to illegals wanting to work low-paying jobs... its quite another to have border security prioritization that allows the possibility of terrorists infiltrating up from the South to wage attacks like the Kenyan shopping mall assault, or a dirty bomb attack... or even worse. Seems like the Obama administrations priorities are never where they should be, only where they can do the most good for their supporters, the unions and their business cronies. Remember Solyndra, Fisker, A123 Systems? They continue to funnel good money after bad... all in the name of Green Energy and the fight against Global Warming.
