Glyn Cowden, Jim Owens, and Jimmy Bagwell all spoke before council of concerns of protection of Shem Creek and Coleman Blvd. Wonderful words of wisdom from these men and we should all be thankful.Two different #s of tenants and parking spaces named for the Boulevard parking problems. The amount of parking by the provided #s would equal 1.4 or 1.6 parking spaces per unit of the two phases combined. Council talked quite a bit on this matter, but I did not hear any mention of the spaces per unit. Granma will not be able to visit, for sure. I also think some of the spaces were meant for customers of the shops.Thank you, Gary Santos for bringing up many matters that need to be addressed. We also took notice that Women are needed to serve this town as Stokes-Marshall will not be running again. Much talk of 25,000 to a Medal Bowl of honor and to proceed with this. A smart council member raised the question if the council had found return in the 2.7 million before that amount of money was provided. Come to the meetings and you are not alone- you may even sit with a redheaded nurse.
