Gm FBF. Im sad again. Im in prayer, but prior to prayer, I have been waking up sad and heavy. This is why: VP OF PCA: Ms. Langley where do you feel we dropped the ball because we are doing everything possible to help provide services to your mother!....its the governments fault that things are how they are....its the state, they dont provide what we need and make us look bad because we are the front line workers...theres really nothing we can do.... SENIOR LAW CENTER: be side your mom isnt the one calling us and speaking for herself on the issue, I know its a stupid rule, Im just an intern here, but because of the stipulation, you are calling for her and you arent a PA Resident or over 60. So we cant help you..... PCA DIRECTOR: ms langley, in review of this case, we will start services immediately WHEN you stop being her care worker and find someone who can provide those services. Till then, we will NOT turn paperwork into the state till you find a worker for her. ME: I sent the letter of special consideration for approval which states in the guidelines you and the state sent me...the letter needs to accompany the paperwork for the state to review and approve. How can this happen if you dont send in the service plan to the state? PCA DIRECTOR: didnt you send a letter to the state too? ME: I did but I dont know if they have it. I know you do and reason I sent to you so it can all go in as a packet to the state. Its been over an entire year with trying to get this service started and approved for mom and I need yall to make the program for her case NOT her fit the program. She needs care! PCA DIRECTOR: Well, uh, um, uh, hm, uh...the state said we had to not do this. ME: the state said this to you?.... PCA DIRECTOR: huh, um, hmm, uh, ME: Did the State say this to you???? PCA DIRECTOR: Um, Yes, until you get another care worker we will send immediately and start services. ME: but thats the problem! Its been hard to get one...and the state cant approve my request without you turning in the paperwork. My letter cant stand alone without reason for the letter, Which Is The Paperwork that you all have!!! And your service coordinator said last week yall dont need a caseworker for mom to send the paperwork in. When I asked then why it wasnt turned in then all this time, she said she just works here and following instructions on what they tell me to do... PCA DIRECTOR: well I talk to state this week and they said not to turn it in. ME: so what happens to my mom? What alternative and solutions can you give me in the meantime while mom still waits? PCA DIRECTOR: uh, um, well, huh, um, theres really nothing we can do or do, the state said what they said. So call us when you find someone have them enrolled to work for your mom and we will send the paperwork in immediately.... So its time I guess to take it there....CALLING ALL LETTERS AND PAPERS REGARDING YOUR BAD EXPERIENCES TRYING TO GET CARE THROUGH PCA....
